Version 1.11.18

  • Fixed high school monthly costs per student (down from $2233 to $679) as previously we had a bad interpretation of data.
  • Costs of building a fire station are rebalanced to be closer to real world data. Investment and monthly maintenance is higher, but the actual response dispatch cost is lower.
  • Finance & Insurance demand is now driven by both companies and population, as normal people also need banking and insurance, not just firms.
  • Some high income class people will exit the city after a certain threshold of income tax in a laffer curve fashion (Rauh & Shyu, 2024)
  • Census now shows an “exit poll” of the reasons why people leave the city
  • Stats UI improvements: Now there’s categories of stats, instead of a colossal dropdown of all stats in no particular order.
  • Improvements to database saving to avoid corrupted city files
  • Improved graphics code
